According to the "history of Chattahoochee County, Georgia," Stonewall
was one of County Commissioners in 1933 and was descended from one of the
original settlers of the county. Sotonewall's wife, Mary, was also
mentioned as a descendant of original settlers. At the time, he owned
both a plantation and a store in Renfroe.
Could the store have been called "Spivey and Patterson?" One of the
original subscribers to the capital stock of the Bank of Cuseta was
Spivey and Patterson. The bank was founded in 1907 and prospered but was
closed in 1926 and adjudged insolvent. The building housing the band
burned in 1930.

According to "The Kennamer Family," Riley T. served four years in the
Confederate army and rose to captaincy of COmpany G, Johnson's Brigade.
He was wounded four times.
After the war, he built wagons and carriages and had excellent business
success. He then moved into the mechantile business and banking. He owned
the bank at Demorest, GA and was president of the White County Bank in
Cleveland, GA.
