Note for:   Ann Bauld,   NOV 1869 - BEF. 11 JUN 1880         Index
Ann is first listed on the 1880 Cook Co., IL census as being born in Nov 1869. She does not appear in the 1880 census. In the 1900 census, her mother Mary states that she had nine children in all but only four where alive in 1900.

Note for:   Dennis Carney McKillip,   BET. JUN 1851 - MAY 1852 - 18 SEP 1891          Index
Occupation:
     Date:   JUN 1880
     Place:   Printer

Burial:
     Date:   20 SEP 1891
Place:   Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, Cook, IL

Note:    In the 1880 Cook County, IL census, Dennis was enumerated at 271 Morgan Street. In the same building and living nearby were Robert Eary (a teamster) and John McEvoy (a printer). There was also a Freter Edstron visiting during the enumeration. She was 42 and either widowed or divorced at the time. She lists New York as her birthplace but her father was from Sweden. More research is needed to determine if she related to Dennis or Mary.

Dennis is buried in Section F, Division 4, Lot 332, Location 4 1/2 N. His interment number is #34280.

Note for:   Mary Henry Jones,   BET. JUN 1855 - MAY 1856 - AFT. SEP 1891          Index

I found a Mary H. MacKillip in the 1900 Cook County, IL US census listed as the superintendent of a "Balm of Gilhead Home" (unsure of first word). The location is 466 North Clark Street. Her birth dates look right and it lists her as a widow. Her parents' birth places are listed as both NY. In the 1880 US census, Mary lists her parents' birth places as both Ireland. Perhaps some research at the Chicago Historical Society will bring some more info to light.

Note for:   Harry McKillip,   BET. JUN 1876 - MAY 1877 - UNKNOWN         Index
In the 1880 Chicago, Cook Co, IL census, the enumerater wrote "Chicago" as Harry's birthplace but then scratched through it and wrote "ILL".

Note for:   Hanje M. Julien,   BET. JUN 1871 - MAY 1872 - AFT. JUN 1880         Index

Could the "Hanje" listed in the 1880 census be "Angela" that Ginnie Heinemann has as a child of Joseph and Caroline?

Note for:   Florence Julien,   FEB 1870 - AFT. JUN 1900          Index
In the 1900 Cook County census, Florence lists her year of immigration as what looks to be 1878. I believe this date to be incorrect since her mother and brother list 1873 as the year of immigration. 1873 also fits the pattern of children birth dates and locations found in the 1880 census.
